// Access Control

Access Control Vendors

Vendor landscape for coworking access control: 17 cloud and mobile-credential door-entry systems that sync access rights with membership status.

Category note: For coworking, the access systems are less locks and more the place where membership turns into door rights, so start with what your coworking platform syncs natively. Nexudus documents native integrations with Kisi, Salto KS, Brivo, Avigilon Alta, Gallagher, Sofia (Luckey), UniFi Access, Paxton Net2, ACT365, Doorflow and Genetec, and its integrations page also names Parakey, Tapkey, Akiles and Doordeck (now Sentry Interactive); OfficeRnD Flex lists Brivo, Kisi, Salto KS / ProAccess SPACE, Avigilon Alta and BlueID. With a native sync, access starts with the plan, pass or booking and stops when the member's licence (not a lease) ends, with no manual offboarding. Then choose the cost model: per-door cloud licences (Kisi, Brivo, Avigilon Alta, Verkada, Salto KS) buy managed software and support; hardware-only (Ubiquiti UniFi Access) has no recurring licence but you run it yourself; smart-lock cylinders (Tapkey, Akiles, Parakey, Sofia) retrofit existing doors with little wiring and suit small spaces and private offices. Check mobile credentials too: Apple Wallet badges are offered by Kisi, Avigilon Alta and Gallagher, and UniFi Access also supports Google Wallet. Asia-Pacific: Gallagher (New Zealand) is the main enterprise option with local support, Avigilon Alta launched in the Philippines in July 2026, Spintly (India) counts Smartworks and Awfis among its clients, and Akerun (Japan) integrates with the Japanese coworking system TeamPlace.CRM. Unified door + camera platforms are covered in Security & Surveillance Vendors, member platforms in Coworking Operating Systems, and locker access in Smart Lockers & Parcels Vendors.
